Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 2 Branzino, Whole
 - 1 Lemon
 - 1 White Onion, peeled and thinly sliced
 - 3 Bell peppers (yellow, red, green), thinly sliced
 - 1 tsp. Chef Merito® Lemon Pepper
 - 5 oz. Chef Merito® Fish Fry
 - 1 cup of Cooking Oil

Preparation
- Thoroughly clean the fish and pat dry.
 - Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add cooking oil.
 - While the oil heats up, with a sharp knife, make slashes on a diagonal along the body of the fish every 2 inches on both sides, cutting all the way down to the bone for faster and even cooking.
 - On a flat plate or tray, generously cover the Branzino with the Chef Merito® Fish Fry.
 - Carefully place the fish in the frying pan, lowering the heat to medium-low. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
 - Plate the fish and drain the oil from the pan, but do not wipe away the oil from the pan.
 - Place the pan on medium-high heat and add the onion, bell peppers, and Chef Merito® Lemon Pepper. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
 - Serve the sautéed vegetables by placing them on top of the fish. Garnish with lemon slices and rosemary.
